Terms & conditions
These terms govern the sale of scanners and related equipment and services by Paper2Cloud, a trading name of IT & Electronic Services Ltd (“we”, “us”), registered in Ireland (Company registration: to be confirmed, VAT number: to be confirmed), to anyone who orders through this website or via a quote request (“you”). By placing an order or accepting a quote, you agree to these terms.
1. Orders and acceptance
A purchase online, or an order placed against a quote or purchase order, is an offer to buy. No contract exists until we confirm acceptance in writing (including by email) or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first. We may decline any order, including where a product is mispriced, out of stock, or where we can't verify a purchase order.
2. Prices and VAT
Prices are shown ex-VAT and inc-VAT, in euro. VAT is charged at the applicable Irish rate at the time of order. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is confirmed.
3. Payment
Online orders are paid by card at checkout via our payment processor. Orders placed against a purchase order are invoiced on terms agreed with you in writing. Title to goods remains with us until payment is received in full.
4. Delivery
See our Delivery page for timelines, coverage and installation. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once we've received payment in full.
5. Cancellation and returns
See our Returns page. Consumers (individuals buying outside the course of a business) have a statutory right to cancel most orders within 14 days under the EU Consumer Rights Directive as implemented in Ireland; this right does not automatically extend to businesses or public bodies ordering under a purchase order, whose cancellation terms are as agreed in writing.
6. Warranty
Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under Irish consumer protection law where they apply.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Subject to that, our liability to business customers for any claim arising from an order is limited to the price paid for the relevant goods.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
