Privacy policy

Paper2Cloud, a trading name of IT & Electronic Services Ltd, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have over it, in line with the GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What we collect

  • Contact and organisation details you give us in a quote request or contact form (name, organisation, email, phone, what you're enquiring about).
  • Order and delivery details if you buy online (name, delivery address, order contents).
  • Payment card data: we never see or store this ourselves; it's collected directly by our payment processor, Stripe.
  • Basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited).

2. Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To fulfil an order or respond to a quote request: necessary to perform a contract, or to take steps towards one at your request.
  • To deliver and install equipment, and provide ongoing servicing: contract performance.
  • To answer support queries: contract performance / legitimate interest in supporting our customers.
  • To meet our accounting, tax and invoicing obligations: legal obligation.

3. Who we share it with

Stripe processes card payments on our behalf and handles that data under its own privacy policy. Delivery/installation partners receive only what's needed to deliver and install your order. We don't sell personal data, and don't share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. How long we keep it

We keep order and invoicing records for as long as Irish tax law requires (currently six years). Quote enquiries that don't become an order are kept for a limited retention period, to be confirmed, and then deleted.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct it if it's wrong; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; or receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) if you think we've mishandled your data.

6. Cookies

This site does not currently set analytics or marketing cookies.
